The properties of the seven accused who killed four Dalits for refusing to share fish caught by them in Bihar's Patna district, were attached Friday, police said.
The shooting took place Sunday when four Dalits were busy catching fish in a water body near Aiyara village in Patna, a police officer said.
"We have attached the properties of all the accused," said district police officer Harikishor Rai.
Rai said the properties of all the accused including, Subhash Sharma, Chandrakant Sharma, Jumman Khan, Raju Khan, and Mukesh Singh were attached following a court's order after they failed to surrender within the deadline.
All those killed were supporters of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), which enjoys the support of the Dalits and backward castes in its stronghold Paliganj.
