The Indian Association Sharjah has come up with a proposal to do organic farming in all 14 districts in Kerala.
Talking to IANS Wednesday, P. Sudeep, chief executive officer of Norka-Roots, the government agency which looks after the welfare of non-resident Keralites, said the proposal came up during the NRK Global Meet held at Kochi last week.
The Indian Association Sharjah expressed their willingness to do organic farming across Kerala over a minimum area of 50 acres.
Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy assured the association of all facilitation for the proposed idea despite paucity of land in the state.
