Ligue 1 football champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have announced they will wear "Je Suis Paris" written jerseys without any sponsor's logo for the next two games in tribute to the victims of the recent terror attacks in the capital city.

PSG will bear the message in their Champions League Group A match against Swedish team Malmo on Wednesday night and again on Saturday against Troyes, their first Ligue 1 home match after the attacks, reports Xinhua.

"This message of unity will appear on the shirt in the space usually occupied by our main partner Emirates," read the club's statement on Monday.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi would like to "especially thank the club's partners Emirates, as well as Ooredoo and QNB, who have released their space on the players' jerseys", according to the statement.

"Je Suis Paris (I am Paris)" echoes the "Je Suis Charlie" message that was adopted following the attacks on the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices in Paris last January.

Five days ago, PSG unveiled a previous version of the special shirt with the message "Je Suis Paris" appeared below the club's logo on the chest.

At least 129 people were killed in coordinated attacks on Paris on Friday. One of the areas targeted was the Stade de France, where France played Germany in an international friendly while three bombs blew up outside the stadium.

"Next Saturday, for the first home match at Parc des Princes since the dramatic events, Paris Saint-Germain will honor the victims with a message in unison with the vibrant solidarity expressed by the French and International football community during the past days," added the statement.
