Filmmaker Puri Jagannath is likely to be working on a yet-untitled Telugu film with actor Nithiin Reddy before he collaborates with megastar Chiranjeevi for his 150th film "Auto Jaani".
"Chiranjeevi's film will be launched on August 22, and before that, Puri wants to make a film with Nithiin. He has already finalised the script and will start shooting with Nithiin from June 9. It will be a quick project and it is expected to release in the first week of August," a source close to Puri told IANS.
Puri, who recently completed Telugu drama "Jyothi Lakshmi", has retained the film's technical crew for Nithiin's film as well.
"Puri will produce Nithiin's film under his home production. He wants to complete shooting it in less than 50 days. A newcomer will be paired with Nithiin. The team is on the lookout for a suitable heroine," the source added.
Puri and Nithiin had last collaborated in "Heart Attack".
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has asked Puri to rework on a few crucial scenes in "Auto Jaani".
"As many as 20 scenes have been asked to be changed. Puri is rewriting them and he will soon meet Chiranjeevi and discuss in detail," the source said.
