An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 224km northwest of Saumlaki town in Indonesia Monday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The temblor occurred at 10.05 p.m. (22:05 GMT) Monday, Xinhua reported citing USGS.
The epicenter, with a depth of 153.69 km, was initially determined to be at 6.7053 degrees south latitude and 129.7153 degrees east longitude.
