Leading classifieds portal Quikr on Tuesday announced missed call service for online profile creation to those without access to internet.
"Our missed call service to toll free # 1800-103-3331 will help create visibility to skilled workers and help recruiters to source talent in diverse categories across the country," Quikr founder and chief executive Pranay Chulet said in a statement here.
Focusing on blue collar, grey collar and entry level jobs across the country, the QucikrJobs tele service will bridge gap between job seekers and recruiters on the other side of the digital world.
"We have been using our Quickr platform to recruit for our call centre operations and sales force and meet delivery needs," Chulet said.
With 25 lakh candidate profiles and 16 lakh jobs listed, the seven-year-old city-based cross-category classifieds platform is used by about 30 million users a month across the country.
Present in about 1,000 cities and operating in 10 categories spanning mobile phones, household goods, cars, real estate, jobs, services and education, the digital platform uses desktop, laptop and mobile phones to facilitate small businesses and consumers to buy, rent and find things across categories with ease.
The portal now wants to provide a meeting place to every unemployed person with recruiters to help secure suitable job through QuickrJobs.
