R.K. Verma takes over as railway board secretary

Indian Railways on Tuesday announced that R.K. Verma has assumed charge as the railway board secretary.

According to the Ministry of Railways, Verma a 1980 batch officer of the 'Indian Railway Service of Engineers' (IRSE), took over his new post on Tuesday.

"Before assuming the post of secretary, railway board, he was serving as adviser (public grievance) to the minister of state for railways," the ministry said in a release.
