Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi met the secretaries of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Friday here to discuss organisational matters.
Party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told IANS that the meeting was a "routine" engagement that was "long due" since Gandhi returned from a 56-day leave of absence.
"It was a regular organisation meeting with AICC secretaries. He interacted with them on political issues, routine matters and took stock of organisational structures and changes, including the membership issues," Surjewala added.
The meeting was scheduled to take place at 5.30 pm, said a post on Gandhi's office's official Twitter handle.
