Days after the UPA government announced the one-rank, one-pension scheme for defence personnel in its interim budget, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will meet ex-servicemen from Punjab here Monday.
State Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa, in a statement here, said that Gandhi would interact with ex-servicemen and is likely to have dinner with them.
Punjab has a large number of ex-servicemen who will benefit from the new scheme announced by the UPA government.
