Railways to run two special trains for Holi

The Railway Ministry on Friday announced that it will run two special trains from Delhi to Varanasi and Ahmedabad to clear extra rush for the Holi festival.

According to the ministry, the Varanasi-Anand Vihar Terminal Holi Special train would depart from Varanasi on March 9 and 10 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal the following day. In the return direction, the train would operate on March 10 and 11.

The train having eight sleeper class, eight general class and two second class coaches would stop at Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations.

The Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Ahmedabad Holi Special train would depart from Delhi on March 5 to reach Ahmedabad the following day and would run in the return direction on March 9.

 

Comprising of one general class and 13 sleeper class coaches, the special train would stop at Gurgaon and Rewa, the Railway Ministry added in a statement.
