The fourth day's action in the India-Bangladesh one-off Test was called off here on Saturday due to persistent showers, with the home team at 111/3 in reply to India's 462/6 declared.
The closure came as the rain did not even allow a full session's play. Only 30.1 overs of play was possible. India declared their first innings at their overnight score of 462/6.
Bangladesh managed to reach 111 for the loss of three wickets, with opener Imrul Kayes not out on 59. India's spinners Harbhajan Singh (1-23) and Ravichandran Ashwin (2-30 )struck in quick succession before lunch to put Bangladesh in a spot of bother.
