After days of dry weather, the hills of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday experienced moderate to heavy rainfall, with some areas recording over 100 mm. More rains are in store, the Met office said.
While Gohar in Mandi district recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 110 mm, it was 76 mm in Gaggal near Kangra, 37 mm in Shimla and 25.8 mm in Dharamsala.
A Met department official said there were chances of heavy rainfall in some places in the state on June 22 and 23.
Incessant rains caused some landslides in state capital Shimla, hampering vehicular traffic on Saturday morning.
Shimla recorded a high of 25.1 degrees Celsius, while it was 29.6 degrees in Dharamsala, 30.4 degrees in Sundernagar in Mandi district and 21.2 degrees in Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
