According to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, the sky would remain overcast with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 63 per cent.
The MeT recorded 17.2 mm of rain.
"There is a possibility of thunderstorms with rains to occur," the official said.
