Rajasthan continued to reel under cold wave on Saturday, with the minimum temperature dipping at many places. Alwar district recorded a minimum of 1.4 degrees Celsius, while in Mount Abu it was 2 degrees, officials said.
Ganganagar, Dabok and Pilani saw night temperatures hovering between 4 and 4.5 degrees Celsius.
In state capital Jaipur, the minimum stood at 5 degrees Celsius, 4 degrees below normal.
Churu recorded 4.5 degrees and Kota 6.8 degrees Celsius.
The weather department said rain or thunderstorms are likely to occur at isolated places in the state.
Meanwhile, the state government has erected makeshift night shelters for the pavement dwellers.
