A dog that went missing from a Rajasthan minister's bungalow was found Monday, officials said.

"The dog which was missing for the last two days was brought to the minister's house on Monday by an elderly man who had taken it to his home when he found the dog roaming on the road on Saturday," a police official told IANS.

State Medical and Health Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore lives in the bungalow from where the dog went missing.

After a complaint was lodged by an employee at the minister's bungalow, police deputed a constable to look for the dog, which was of a foreign breed.

The dog's pictures were also sent to many police stations to help in finding it.

"A complaint was lodged by Suresh Kumar, an employee in the minister's bungalow No.48 in the city's Civil Lines area on Sunday, that a dog went missing Saturday morning," a police official at the Sodala police station told IANS Monday.

The opposition Congress criticised the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for deploying the police to find a minister's missing dog.
