The Rajasthan government on Monday signed 37 memoranda of understanding (MOUs) worth Rs.2,349 crore with private companies in the tourism sector, officials said.
These projects once operational are expected to create employment for 6,670 people.
The MOUs, signed as a precursor to the upcoming Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit, were mainly in projects related to hotels, resorts and museums, among others.
The Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit, which will be held here on November 19-20, will have strategic conferences, panel discussions, roundtable deliberations, presentations and one-on-one business meetings.
On November 4, the Rajasthan government had signed 76 MOUs in the tourism sector with private entities worth over Rs.319 crore.
