Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday said her government has set a target of getting jobs for 15 lakh youth in the state.
At a function here to mark the nation's 69th Independence Day, Raje unfurled the national flag and said the state government has initiated schemes "to improve infrastructure and providing electricity supply and road network".
"We are going to be the largest producer of solar power in the country," she said at a gathering of residents and school children.
"We plan to set up schools in every gram panchayat and are committed to providing information technology to students," she said.
Raje said her government had set a target of providing employment to 15 lakh youth.
"We are providing skill development facilities to youth in a big way," she said.

She urged people to take up a campaign for a clean and green state.
The chief minister honoured police and government officers on the Independence Day. Cultural programmes and other events were also organised on the occasion.
She also talked about Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit slated to be held in Jaipur on November 19-20, 2015. The summit will have strategic conferences, panel discussions, round-table deliberations, presentations and one-on-one business meetings.
