Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday slammed Congress national president Rahul Gandhi for not revealing the 'gotra' of his father and grandfather.
The Congress Chief had on Monday revealed the gotra of Jawaharlal Nehru at Pushkar's Brahma temple.
Speaking at a public gathering in Naseerabad, Raje said the Congress President should have shared the 'gotra' of his father and grandfather and not of his maternal great grandfather.
Meanwhile, BJP national president Amit Shah on Tuesday addressed two public gatherings in Jalore and Sirohi in Rajasthan where he counted major accomplishments of the ruling government and slammed the opposition of playing caste politics.
In both his gatherings, he counted the accomplishments of the BJP government, saying India has emerged as among the fastest developing economies of the world under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"However, Congress is still involved in playing politics in the name of caste and creed. Recently, they have also been seen raising questions on Prime Minister's parents."
