At the close of play, Mithun Manhas and Rajat Bhatia were batting at 41 and 10, respectively.

After dominating the bowlers Sunday, Baroda were bowled out in the morning for 561 with Ketan Panchal and Gagandeep Singh Natt scoring 80 and 76, respectively.

Both the wickets were taken by pacer Parvinder Awana who ended up with 4/104. While the last wicket of tail'ender Firdaush Bhaja (4) was taken by Pawal Suyal.

Coming out to bat, Delhi skipper Shikhar Dhawan looked in sublime touch but one wrong shot and he was gone for 30 off Murtuja Vahora.

Opener Unmukt Chand (51) scored his first half'century of this season before being bowled by left armer Bharghav Bhatt.

Playing his second first class game, Mohit Sharma played an important knock of 71, including seven boundaries. He first forged a 87'run partnership with 19'year'old Chand and then a 78'year partnership with veteran Mithun Manhas (41 batting).

He was eventually caught in the front of the wicket by Bhaja six overs before the close of play.

With just a day's play left, the match is unlikely to see a result. Delhi will try to bat out the day to share a point each. If not, Baroda with a first innings lead, will bag three points to Delhi's one.
