The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday said it has signed an MoU with Bank of Botswana on "supervisory cooperation and exchange of supervisory information'.
In a statement, RBI said it has entered into MoUs, letters for supervisory co-operation and statement of co-operation with a few countries to promote greater co-operation and share supervisory information.
With the agreement with the bank of the southern African country, India's central bank has signed 28 such MoUs, one letter for supervisory cooperation and one statement of co-operation.
