Real Betis coach Quique Setien said on Wednesday that the upcoming UEFA Europa League group stage match against Greek club Olympiacos is important, but that he is not worried about its result.
Real Betis leads Group F with eight points, one point ahead of second-placed AC Milan and third-placed Olympiacos, while Luxembourgish side Dudelange is at the bottom with no points and two remaining matches, reports Efe news.
The Spanish coach said at a press conference that he believes his Greek opponent "depends more on tomorrow's result to qualify," meaning it will likely be a tough match against a strong rival.
Setien explained that even if his side fails to earn a home win on Thursday, Real Betis would still have options to reach the Europa League knockout stage with a victory in the last match of the group.
The coach also praised his Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, describing him as "a great player who understands the game and is young and still has the ability to progress."
The coach stressed that he is not concerned about Real Betis' recent La Liga defeat 2-1 to Villarreal on Sunday.
