Real Kashmir FC to participate in the 'Football for Peace' conference

Real Kashmir FC will be the first Indian football club to participate in the 'Football for Peace conference in London on November 22, it was announced on Thursday.

The Indian football club have been invited for the prestigious UK City for Peace Conference organised by Football for Peace.

The event will be hosting the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, as a VIP guest and will see football stars including Mesut Ozil, Wilfred Zaha, Bacary Sagna , Lucas Perez, Danny Simpson, Mathieu Flamini, Hayden Mullins marking their presence during the event.

Shamim Mehraj, Co-Founder, Real Kashmir Football Club said, "We are really thankful for the fabulous support, leading to massive acceptance in our own country and a platform like this will now take across our message to a much wider audience."

 

UK City for Peace is a development program organised by Football for Peace to bring together young people from different cultures, faiths and backgrounds from across the globe to work together, play together and learn to confront preconceptions, stereotypes and negative ideologies together, through their common love of football.

Real Kashmir FC is the first team from Jammu and Kashmir who ever qualified for I-League with in a span of two years
