Spanish football giants Real Madrid held a training session on Wednesday under thick fog, while Welsh forwrd Gareth Bale continued his individual recovery work, but Portuguese Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo trained indoors.
Real Madrid, coached by Zinedine Zidane, continued preparations for Sunday's clash against Espanyol in the 22nd round of La Liga, while Pepe was absent for the second consecutive day due to suffering pain and Ronaldo worked out in the gym only, reports Efe.
"The training began with fitness in the gym for more than an hour," the Spanish club's official website said.
The Real Madrid players completed various exercises under the direction of Zidane.
Borja Mayoral was the only player of Real Madrid Castilla who participated in the group training.
