Red Bull Tashan, a Kabaddi tournament for players at the college and club level, will hold its qualifiers in three cities from April 21, it was announced on Monday.
Organised in association with the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) franchise Puneri Paltan, the tournament aims to widen the reach and further develop the sport at the grassroots level.
Held on a knockout basis, the qualifiers of this edition will be held in three cities -- Goa, Sangli and Pune -- from April 21 to May 5 with the final in Pune on May 13.
The winners will get the opportunity to train with the Puneri Paltan team at their home stadium before the sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League in October.
Commenting on the development, Kailash Kanpdal, CEO of Puneri Paltan said: "Over the past few years, the sport of Kabaddi has seen a staggering growth in the participation and interest among the youth.
