Actress Reena Aggarwal, who has previously appeared in Marathi films like "Ajintha" and "Zhalla Bobhata", says her next movie "Dev Devharyat Nahi" is based on real life incidents.

"Dev Devharyat Nahi" will also feature Vikram Gokhale and Suhasini Mulay.

"I am playing the lead in the film. I cannot disclose much details but it's a story based on true events. It's a very emotional story and I cried when I was narrated the script and when we were shooting. It would really touch everyone's heart," Reena said in a statement.

Reena, who was last seen in 2017 Bollywood film "Behen Hogi Teri" alongside Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan, says the movie is "closest to my heart".

"It gave me platform and recognition in Hindi cinema. A great learning experience. Working with good actors always teaches you a lot. And I learnt a lot during shooting of this film," she said.

Reena has also appeared in TV shows like "Kya Mast Hai Life" and "Agent Raghav - Crime Branch".
