Composer-turned-actor G.V. Prakash Kumar, who made his acting debut with recently released Tamil horror-comedy "Darling", is overwhelmed with the response to the film and said it has made him a "responsible actor".
"Words are not enough to express my gratitude for the encouragement and support I'm getting from everybody for 'Darling'. I'm very much humbled by the response to my debut film," Prakash said in a statement.
"Despite the immense pleasure, it has made me a responsible actor and has also given the responsibility of entertaining the audience with good films. I will work hard to maintain the confidence that the audiences have in me," he added.
Directed by Sam Anton, "Darling", a remake of Telugu hit "Prema Katha Chitram", has been raved for its wholesome entertainment.
The film also features Nikki Galrani, Bala Saravanan, Karunas and Rajendran in important roles.
Meanwhile, Prakash has recently started working on his next film "Trisha Illana Nayantara", while Tamil thriller "Pencil" is awaiting release.
