The names of authorised ticket resellers for the 2016 Olympics will be announced on March 31.
Approved companies will be published on the official Rio 2016 website, according to the local organising committee, reports Xinhua.
"Each (authorised reseller) will have its own sales process and fans should seek this information from the company that will sell tickets in their territory. Any (resellers) who are approved after March 31 will be added to the list subsequently," a statement said on Wednesday.
Brazilian residents will be eligible to apply for tickets directly from the local organising committee on March 31 by registering for the first of two random draws. About 7.5 million tickets will be put on sale for the Games to be held from August 5 to 21 next year.
