Rishi Khurana plays troublemaker in new show (TV Snippets)

Actor Rishi Khurana, best known for his roles in shows like "Choti Bahu" and "Saas Bina Sasural", will next be seen playing a troublemaker in upcoming TV show "Nimki Mukhiya".

"I am playing a role with grey shades. I'm the evil one in the family. My character's name is Rituraj. He is a mean and shrewd lawyer and the person responsible for every trouble. It's a very powerful character of a big political pimp," Rishi said in a statement.

The show, which will be aired on Star Bharat starting from August 28, will also feature Garima Vikrant Singh and Abhishek Sharma.

Want to play good man: Sanjay Kaushik

Actor Sanjay Kaushik says he wants to play a positive character onscreen.

Sanjay, who has previously appeared in shows like "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" and "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya", was last seen on screen playing the antagonist in "Meri Durga".

"I have played many negative characters. It's time to play a positive guy. My friends and fans message me and ask me when they will see me in a positive avatar. Even I want to experience playing a good man for a show," Sanjay said in a statement.

"Personally, I like characters which are out-of-the-box, like Amitabh Bachchan in 'Paa', Naseeruddin Shah in 'Finding Fanny' and Shah Rukh Khan in 'My Name is Khan'. Because of my theatre background, I love to play these kind of roles which are challenging and unusual," he added.

Munmun Dutta wants to do dance reality TV show

She has carved out a niche for herself through her charming avatar of Babita in "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah", and actress Munmun Dutta says if given an opportunity, she would love to be a part of a dance reality TV show.

"As of now, I'm tied up doing 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', but in future I would like to do some reality show. Perhaps, a dance reality show," Munmun said in a statement.

"I would also love to be a part of movies down south or even films in our Bollywood industry but granted that its a good character and script," she added.

Acting comes naturally to me: Sana Amin Sheikh

Actress Sana Amin Sheikh, who essays Suchi in newly launched show "Bhootu", says acting comes naturally to her and she prefers going by the script while preparing for her roles.

"Acting comes to me naturally, it's in my blood. As far as preparations are concerned, I am going to work according to the script given to me," Sana said in a statement.

"I hope to exceed the expectations of the creative team and the audiences will hopefully love the show. I will be honest in my portrayal of the character by giving my best," she added.

"Bhootu", aired on Zee TV, also features Arshiya Mukherjee and Viraj Kapoor.
