Singer-songwriter Rita Ora says it's hard to make friends in Hollywood because people there can be as fake as signing up on a dating website.
"To me, I have my friends who I've known my whole life, and I can count them on one hand. They're people I went to school with, my mum's friends' daughters. You know?" said the 22-year-old.
"Everyone else I meet from that point on, if they happen to become a friend, that's incredible - come and join the family - but if not.... With Hollywood friends, everybody knows the deal. It's like signing up to a dating website."
The singer, who is dating DJ Calvin Harris, said that she feels lonely without her family but she will never quit the industry, reports femalefirst.co.uk
"Of course, I get lonely and I get sad, but I made a decision to do this... I'm in an amazing position to change my life, and change my family's life," she told the new British issue of GQ magazine.
When asked if she would have regrets if her career were to end in a year's time, she said: "That's never ever f***ing going to happen. Never!"
