Singer Rita Ora says her mother Vera encourages her to be more provocative with her clothing to glam up her image.

''When I wear crazy stuff, she'll (my mum will) say, '...I need glamour.' I got obsessed with makeup and makeup artists when I was young, with people like Kevyn Aucoin. I feel like I'm a character already, as in, like, I love dressing up. If I could live in a cabaret, I would. If I could live in 'Moulin Rouge!', I would," contactmusic.com quoted the 23-year-old as saying.

Meanwhile, the "How We Do" hitmaker is currently the face of cosmetic brand Rimmel, and insists her aim was to bring out the fun side of the brand with bright beauty looks.

''Kate Moss is iconic, and Georgia May Jagger is an English rose; she's gorgeous. Me, I like exaggerating a colour and being over the top," she said.

''So when Rimmel approached me, I said, 'I'd love to do it, but can we go crazy and do bold colours?' I learnt a lot from them, and we really mixed and matched our ideas," she added.
