Actor Riteish Deshmukh and son of late Maharashtra chief minister and union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, has congratulated Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar for the "stupendous" victory of the Grand Alliance in the Bihar assembly elections.
The actor took to Twitter to share his views after the election results came in on Sunday.
"Congratulations @NitishKumar ji on the stupendous victory. RJD is the single largest party in Bihar - Congratulations @laluprasadrjd ji - the architect of this victory," Riteish tweeted.
Meanwhile, Pritish Nandy also shared that he is "Watching Grand Alliance press conference. @NitishKumar statesmanlike, self assured. @laluprasadrjd delightful, stole the show".
"Barfi!" director Anurag Basu was also happy with the results and posted: "Happy with #BiharResults otherwise coming West Bengal election would have been very communal."
