Bihar's ruling RJD legislators and senior party leaders, including MPs, on Monday rejected the demand for resignation of party leader and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav over the CBI raids.
A day ahead of the meeting of JD-U legislators called by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to decide on the party's stand on the CBI raids, RJD leaders declared that there was no question of Tejashwi's resignation.
The RJD legislators also asked the younger son of Lalu Prasad to aggressively counter the opposition BJP's politics of vendetta in public.
