AS Roma defender Federico Fazio has said that the club, who are second in Italy's Serie A football championship, continues to believe they can win the league title.
Fazio said in an interview with Sky Sports on Thursday that Roma can win the Serie A and what is important is not to waste points, reports Efe news agency.
The city-based football club are currently four points behind league leaders and defending champions Juventus.
The defender, who won the Olympic gold medal with Argentina at the 2008 Olympics, stressed that in order to increase its chances to catch up with Juventus, it is important for Roma to snatch points as visitors, starting with Sunday's match against Genoa.
He was referring to Roma only winning three of the nine matches played away from home in this edition of the Serie A.
Fazio, who signed for Roma in the summer and became a fixture in the starting XI, thanked coach Luciano Spalletti for the confidence that he gave him throughout these past months.
