TV actress Roopal Tyagi, who is currently seen as Gunjan in "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke", will question the security measures for women in Mumbai on the show.

The plot will see the actress' character being followed by two men. She will then recall how safe the city used to be and how the scenario has changed now. Her character then decides to do something about it.

Roopal believes it is relevant to tackle such a subject in times when the city is in focus following a recent gang rape of a young photojournalist.

"I think it's a great track and currently, given the situation of women in the country is very relevant. Gunjan comes to the conclusion that women need to learn self defence in order to safeguard themselves," Roopal said in a statement.

"She makes her mind to work towards including 'self defence' as a subject in the school curriculum," she added.

The track will air Sep 23 onwards on the Zee TV show.
