India signed off their campaign at the 16th Asian Rowing Championships with a haul of five silver and two bronze medals at the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park here on Monday.
The men's fours team comprising Kapil Sharma, Jaswinder Singh, Rajesh Verma and Mohammad Azad bagged silver with a time of six minutes and 3.25 seconds.
Dattu Baban Bhokanal also got a silver in the men's single sculls with a time of 7:18.41.
The men's eights team of Davinder Singh, Naveen Kumar Borraiya, Suchcha Singh Tomer, Gurinder Singh, Kapil Sharma, Jaswinder Singh, Rajesh Verma and Mohammad Azad, which was coxed by Lakshman Rohith Maradapa, also bagged a silver.
The other silver medals were bagged by Vikram Singh and Shokendar Tomar (men's light weight double sculls) and Roopendra Singh and Sonu Laxmi Narain (men's double sculls).
Davinder Singh and Naveen Kumar Borraiya claimed a bronze in men's pairs while Dushyant also took third place in the men's lightweight single sculls.
