Royal Challengers thrash Pune Warriors by 130 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Pune Warriors by 130 runs to go top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) standings at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium here Tuesday.

Besides scoring a record-breaking 175 off 66 balls, Chris Gayle also took two wickets in the last over of the match.

Royal Challengers had earlier posted a mammoth score of 263 for five.

In reply, Steven Smith was the only saving grace for the visitors, top scoring with 41 off 31 balls as Pune huffed and puffed their way to 133 for nine.
