Eicher Motors' flagship motorcycle brand Royal Enfield on Tuesday said that it has opened its first exclusive showrooms in Paris and Madrid.
According to the company, the two stores are part of a new growth strategy in Europe and an effort at expanding the global mid-sized motorcycle segment comprising of 250-750cc bikes.
"The exclusive stores are part a of Royal Enfield's new retail strategy, showcasing our brand philosophy of 'pure motorcycling' in every aspect of the Royal Enfield ownership experience," Arun Gopal, international business head, Royal Enfield, was quoted in a statement.
"In future, we are also looking at other cities in these countries to expand our distribution network, in addition to a strong after market network and infrastructure to ensure full service support."
The company also unveiled its gear collection comprising of motorcycle apparel and accessories for the first time in these markets, and showcased its limited edition motorcycle range inspired by 'despatch riders' from the World War II earlier.
