Stand-up comedians Russell Peters and Faizon Love have been roped in to star in the buddy comedy "Ripped".

Peters is taking a break from his Almost Famous World Tour to shoot the film. Alex Meneses, who is featured in Eva Longoria's upcoming TV show "Hot and Bothered", will also star in it, reports variety.com.

The story of the film is being kept under wraps. Brad Epstein is directing the film from a screenplay by Billiam Coronel.
