Newcomer Rytasha Rathore, who will essay Indian small screen's "biggest bahu" -- in terms of her physical appearance and her large heartedness -- in a new offering "Badho Bahu", says she is happy to challenge the status quo.
For the upcoming show, to be aired on &TV, Rytasha's character is being pitched as a daughter-in-law who weighs 94 kg.
After a nationwide audition, Rytasha will be making her TV debut opposite Prince Narula.
"It's great that mainstream Indian TV is writing such interesting characters. I am just happy to be part of something that is challenging the status quo," Rytasha said in a statement.
Rytasha will be seen portraying the character of Badho who is not only physically big but has an equally bigger heart and spreads happiness around her.
