"Kshanam" star Adivi Sesh is all set to finally start shooting for his next film, to be directed by his cousin Sai Kiran. The actor says it's a very fresh and untried genre for Telugu cinema.
"It's a coming-of-age story. You can compare it with 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Reality Bites', 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. My film belongs to that ilk. But it's not inspired by one film. It's a slice-of-life film. A very fresh and untried genre for Telugu cinema."
"It is just the kind of cinema my cousin Sai Kiran specializes in, a drama about emotions and internal conflicts."
Shedding more light on the project, Adivi said: "We have Priyadarshi and Adith. We also have Nair and Eden, both actresses from languages other than Telugu making their debut in the Telugu cinema. Parvathi is an award-winning Tamil actress."
Adivi says comparisons with "Kshanam" are uncalled for.
"'Kshanam' was a film that I scripted. This is completely Sai Kiran's creation. Hence, the result of two different thought processes. This new film will be as different from 'Kshanam' as 'Talaash' was from 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' although both were from the same production house."
