Samajwadi Party workers celebrate bypolls win

Samajwadi Party workers in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri and Saifai Tuesday celebrated the victory of party candidates in assembly byelections.

The party made a stunning comeback in Uttar Pradesh as it won eight of the 11 assembly seats that went for byelections.

Party workers burst fire-crackers, distributed sweets, and danced on the streets.

In Mulayam Singh Yadav's village Saifai, villagers distributed sweets and danced to greet Tej Pratap Singh, who won from the Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat.

In Agra, Mathura and Firozabad too, sweets were distributed as party workers danced on the streets.
