"Mary Kom" fame director Omung Kumar's much-awaited biographical drama film "Sarbjit", starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadha in the lead, will release on May 19 - a day before it was scheduled to hit the screens.
The film's director shared the new release date on Twitter.

The film is based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan afer he inadvertently crossed the border.
"Sarbjit" will see Randeep playing the title role while Richa will be seen essaying the role of his wife Sukhpreet Kaur.
The film will be narrated through the perspective of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur, played by Aishwarya.
