Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed Tuesday to provide emergency relief assistance of $10 million for Sudan.

The assistance will be allocated for victims, affected by the floods that recently struck a number of Sudanese states, in coordination with the relief organisations working in the affected areas, reported Xinhua citing Saudi Arabian Finance Minister Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf.

Last month, King Abdullah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, had ordered financial aid worth $5 billion for the unrest-hit Egypt. He also ordered for sending three field hospitals with full crews of doctors, technicians and medical equipment in support of Egyptians.
