The European Union (EU) Monday said it considered the second Russian humanitarian convoy sent to eastern Ukraine over the weekend without Ukraine's consent as "illegal".
Russia delivered a second shipment of aid to eastern Ukraine over the weekend, unaccompanied across the border, Xinhua reported citing local media reports.
The EU External Action Service statement said the way Russian humanitarian consignment , without the consent of or inspection by the Ukrainian authorities was sent, was "illegal, in breach of Ukrainian territorial integrity and sovereignty."
Russia sent its first humanitarian convoy into Ukraine in the latter half of last month, which Ukraine had condemned as "direct invasion".
