World No.1 Serena Williams easily qualified on Friday for the fourth round of the Australian Open after beating Russian Daria Kasatkina 6-1, 6-1 in just 44 minutes.
Williams, the top seed and title holder, will face another Russian player Margarita Gasparyan, who defeated Kazakh Yulia Putintseva 6-3 and 6-4 in 91 minutes.
Williams aims to win her seventh title of the Australian Open, after she won the championships of 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2015.
