Forty passengers were rescued, Xinhua reported quoting Zainul Tjahar, spokesman of the national search and rescue office.
KM Marina Baru 02B, heading to the Siwa seaport of South Sulawesi from Kolaka in the southeast, was reported missing at 15.10 p.m. (local time) on Saturday, according to the spokesman.
