At least seven people were killed and two injured when a boat capsized in Iloilo-Guimaras Strait in central Philippines, the local coast guard said on Monday.
The boat "Tawash" carrying 41 passengers capsized around 4 p.m. (local time) on Sunday, Xinhua news agency reported.
According to the Iloilo Coast Guard Public Affairs Office, the operation to find two missing passengers was temporarily suspended due to poor visibility and unfavourable weather conditions and will resume soon.
