Seven people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and an auto-rickshaw in Comilla district of Bangladesh Tuesday.

The accident took place in Chouddagram upazila on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway around 6.30 p.m., said Noabazar highway police outpost's sub-inspector Nazim Uddin.

He said four of the deceased, two women and two children, were passengers of the auto-rickshaw.

But they were yet to be identified, he added.

The SI said the seven had died on the spot when the Unique Service's bus collided with the three-wheeler head-on.
