At least seven people were killed and several others injured in separate shooting incidents in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi Sunday, media reports said.
Those killed included two policemen and two activists of a religious group, Xinhua reported citing Geo TV.
The two policemen were performing their duties at a bakery in Baldia town that was extorted by unknown miscreants.
Police said that several unknown gunmen opened fire at the cops, killing them right at the spot, and fled to unidentified location.
In another incident, an activist of political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was shot dead in Rasheedabad area of the city.
Police said that the deceased was PTI's official candidate for the forthcoming local body election.

In a similar incident in North Nazimabad area, two students of a Sunni seminar were shot dead in firing by unknown gunmen.
Separately, two people were shot dead in the Mawach Goth area of the city, while another sustained injuries.
At least 17 people including two policemen and two political activists of a religious group were gunned down Saturday in separate incidents of violence in the city.
