Seven Maoist guerrillas were arrested from two districts of Jharkhand Saturday, police said.
Five of them belong to the People's Liberation Front of India and were arrested from a jungle area in Gumla district, around 120 km from Ranchi, police said.
Six rifles, five revolvers, live cartridges, 39 mobile phones, many SIM cards and mobile chargers were also recovered.
Police said the Maoist guerrillas were holding a meeting on how to disrupt the Lok Sabha election. The district falls under the Lohardagga Lok Sabha constituency which goes to the polls April 10.
In the second incident, two Maoist guerrillas were arrested in Khuti district, around 70 km from Ranchi, with live bombs.
